Getting The Name And Intro Right

everyone, welcome to Save It To Save It for Swing Shift. Is that what it's called? Is that right? Save it for Swing Shift. Uh it is, yes. Okay. Those of you who are avid listeners of the Set and Centered podcast are very familiar with my brother RJ. Say hello to the folks.

And I am your co-host, Rob, RJ's younger brother, who you've heard a lot about on Set and Centered, and have been uh honored with being a part of our guest on a couple of episodes.

And uh we wanted to put out a little bit of a an intro, kind of let you all know why we decided to put this this podcast together separate from Set and Centered.

Why Start A New Podcast

Um RJ, do you can why why don't you start by telling telling the reasoning or I guess the thought process behind us starting our own podcast?

Honest to God, I don't know. Like, Set and Center is so good. Why the fuck are we doing this? Uh well.

Yeah, trying to coax me into saying that on your behalf is that's dirty pool. But you know what? I guess you're in charge, so yes. Well, let's maybe maybe maybe a way I could try to explain it is to explain why it's uh a set and center podcast, right? Why it's part of that family versus just its own podcast. The ranch family spreads far and wide, of course. Rob and I find ourselves having lots of not lots of conversations. We somewhat infrequently, I would say we get on and have a real conversation on the phone a couple times a month on average, but when we do, oh boy howdy. Yeah. I think you I think at one point you we were joking about having a podcast, and I started, I'm like, what nice on about astrophotography? Like, you know what, but let's save it for the podcast.

Yeah, I mean, that's that's pretty much right on the money. It's you know, um, you and I have we yeah, when we do talk, it's usually for at least two to three hours at a time. And the the things that we get into, you know, it's the thought was, you know, uh giving another avenue of uh content for the the fans of Sentin' Centered.
